Map Description:
For those of us that are old enough to be familar with the movie "Bridge over the River Kwai" this mission is especially for you. Because of the size of the mission I have seperated it into 2 missions Day 1 and Day 2. I have replicated the first bridge built by the POWs which was built out of wood and the second bridge was a railway bridge made of steel, this bridge was known as the "Death Railway". Thousands of POWs died in the construction of these bridges and is all based on a true story. I spent over 100 hours creating these missions and for those of us that use NILE and all the bugs that come with it ,you know that is a lot of work. The maps have been tested throughly and the map testers enjoyed the missions and replications. A special thank you to Commander Clan for the Mission testing. I hope all enjoy the missions as much as I had creating them. Good luck all.
We tested this tonight, it comes with two maps day one and two and they are simply excellent. You clearly put alot of work into these maps, the bridge detail is stunning and maps run extremely smooth with 0 lag or graphic issues. Maps are challenging but not impossible and the AI are set just right. one word says it all man WOW!!!!!!
Looking forward to your future work for certain. Will gladly test for ya if ya need a crew to do so just let us know.

10 min and I was ready. have not play right. I flew outside-around to D and killed 5-6 enemies and then the captain, I think you hastens to change this.

Oldman apparently took a shortcut that many do to avoid experiencing the whole map as intended and a real easy fix would be to put a box somewhere around the bridge as a end condition or require all sp's to be captured. Still is great as is though.

Well I don't know if I want to make any changes to accomodate the few people that feel they have to sneak around to the last objective and win that way. Objectives are clear, take B,C D etc and on to the last objective. If someone doesn't want to enjoy the entire mission, then these missions aren't for them. Thanks again to all who downloaded "Bridge over the River Kwai"

Yo Coroner.....You have really outdone yourself on these maps!! Not only are they asthetically (sp) pleasing, but they play out extremely well!! The only problem I see is......HOW in the H$LL are you going to top these?!?! You will be hard pressed next time....lol.....Thanks for your hard work and effort that went into these maps!!! Anxiously awaiting more missions.....

Awesome map. I enjoyed it very much. I am old enough to remember the movie. I have 2 teenage boys, 13 and 14 and we game together. This gave me the chance to tell them the history behind it. Great map.
THanks,
