Map Description:

DFX2 only. SP and Coop. UPDATED: 03:01:2010 (Tanks take less hits in SP. Bugs fixed for coop - apart from PSPs which work fine, only in reverse). This started life as a Coop for AW2 but I thought that perhaps I could make it into a normal single player for DFX2. It seems to work OK. My advice is don’t be in such a rush to get into the tank. The mission goes a lot easier if you wait up and snipe a bit first. SITUATION: A local food processing plant is being used to produce a gas that turns your blood to acid. Go in and put a stop to it! (Have a look up at the burning building for the jumpers) Thanks to Dashie for letting me pinch his cop-car idea. WARNING: It ain’t easy! AIs more difficult in Coop. Feel free to use the buildings idea. Here's how to do it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMRTml4U0Cs

What are doing here? Did you get lost? Oddly enough I prefer my Falklands map but more for the look than the gameplay. Cheers for the comments as usual. Are you in exile from Nova HQ or something?

Its creative but a bit too much with the tanks and overly hidden AI such as the one on the tower hiding in the red light.

Not meant to be easy

Well, it looked as if someone got their ass kicked! lol! I did put a warning that it wasn't easy. However, if you look up and around and use the lean keys to peak around corners you will find it isn't so difficult. This is not a Rambo mission. The texts during the mission recommend not using the tanks straight away and sniping a bit first. I Tried to make it more like a BHD mission e.g. cleverly concealed BGs (but they are all seeable if you look for them). Mind you, I wasn't expecting it to liked by everyone.

Where did i say i got my ass kicked? Actualy i died 3 times and that was in the beginning when checking the AI accuracy. speaking of that you have them set at a high number but you do not use the wac script that adjusts it for multiple players. as for the overly hidden AI you have them set where a player is often in a crossfire. Its a creative map but you realy do need to use waypoints and consider that a coop is 1 to x number of players.

Each to their own

Well, I'll just have to beg to differ with you. With DFX2 your health returns to normal after about 10 seconds if you hide round a corner. As such, I prefer more of a challenge. For DFX1 I always had the AIs turned down and people often moaned about them being too easy. The point of this map was to get the player to fight for each section of space. As for the coop, I know the wac command you're talking about for the accuracy rate but why not just have them high in the first place? (except the RPGs, that is) A small team can do this alone no problem. My JO AW version of this proved too easy for seasoned coop players. If it's too difficult to do alone then it can be played in SP where the accuracy is a tad lower. From now on most of my DFX2 maps will be designed to be a challenge. And, as in this case, if the maps are going to be difficult I'll post a warning in the briefing. That way people can download it or not according to their tastes. I can't say fairer than that.

"O" Well

I really like this map had fun, only two complaints. I played this map all the way thou, with no problem it's a cake walk. my complaint is after blowing up everything twice and makeing sure i pick up all way points, my Evac never came and map never ended. I need this map to END to host it !! Sorry but base on this two points witch are VERY important it was put in the trash. Also notice this map is a copy of an NPJ or NPZ.. I know this because of PSP were backwards, this only happen when a map is converted From npj to BMS. so on this point sloppy mapping(making sure events and PSP are right) I gave it a 1. Why? two very important events never happen. and who ever converted map never check to make sure it work correctly and PSP were in order !! To be hosted in my servers it must work and be well ocistrated. (must work) this is only the second time i have downloaded maps from here . and im alway disapointed !! We make our own but we need fresh working maps !! we can not build them fast enought.

Never use nile

I think I know the problem you're talking about and I'll sort it out (you used a AT4 or RPG to kill the rocket). As for converting from Nile you are 100% wrong. I don't even have it on my PC as far as I know.
