That's purely an XP problem. I've had the same encounter. I think you have to download a patch or another type of map maker in order to fix this one.
Can't really remember sorry. Check the downloads area.

I installed DF - TFD after I had XP-PRO installed and I have not had any problems with the map editor. I frequently ALT-TAB between the map editor
and the actual game to take down notes. (Very handy!)
Not sure why your're experiencing problems. :P

Am I reading this right? Is there a way to get to your editor without leaving the game you are in?

Can you exlain it a little better for a moron like me?

You will need to download a copy of the med for XP, mine is DflwmedcP(2)191, but I'n not sure where it came from. If you send me an email, I'll send
it back to you.
And you can use the alt tab key to swap between the med and the game. You can start the game in a window if you want. You will need to put (space_/w
in your command line. right click on your icon, and goto properties, in the target window, click right at the endand type in (space)/w, "C:Program FilesNovaLogicDelta Force Land WarriorDflw.exe" /w
