AI Names Made Easy..
There are 2 ways to name the AI, both display over the web...in Coops
I use this one..in the bin file, it doesn't require additional commands in the wac file like '[AINAMES]' does.
Use this for example..just add it to your bin file...

STRNAME000 = "null";
STRNAME001 = "Hadgrid";
STRNAME002 = "Harry Potter";
STRNAME003 = "George Weasley";
STRNAME004 = "Fred Weasley";
STRNAME005 = "Sirius Black";
STRNAME006 = "Albus Dumbledore";
STRNAME007 = "Hermione Granger";
STRNAME008 = "Viktor Krum";
STRNAME009 = "Neville Longbottom";
Now, place 9 AI on your map.
In turn, edit each of the item attributes, and put a number in the name box.
This would be Sirius Black.

I have used 20 diferent names, and they all display, I have tested this with Iceman.

cant remember for sure but I think there was 50 or 64 names I messed around with it a few years ago I think after all the names are on they loop out
of order(don't think its random)

Don't worry, perigrine falcon.
If you include 255 names into your mission .bin file, different 255 names will appear on your map, I believe.
So, making your mission .bin is required.

This is useful for MED user.
I had gotten the confusion with difference of '[PeopleNames]' strings and '[AINAMES]' strings for a while.
It is long... long time.
You could clear it. Thank you very much.
Now, I could learn those difference.
'[PeopleNames]' is... for the MED.
'[AINAMES]' is... for the .wac.
I've tried to test your method with JO.
I report it worked with JO also.

I report one more.
It seems STRNAME string have the limit for 15 letters.
I named an AI as "Alpha's destination".
However, "Alpha's destina" appeared in GAME.
This is just a special situation. But I report.
Generally, you will do naming with less than 15 letters.

That's interesting; because 255 was also the maximum number of kills per map a player could obtain in DF 1.
Just sayin'.
I was going to run away and join the circus but then I realized that would be redundant.
