are you talking about VB or VB.net ?
I dont know why MS did that but .net is completely different ...
I decided to learn .net and work with it since I regard it is the future of VB, Now all my VB books are only good for the trashcan.

My latest Mapseries:

Check it out ! (Click image below)

Find my older maps and those that were deleted at DFB due to diskspace:

Haha were talking about VB 6 ..etc, ill set up a forum for vb.net which tends to be more advanced in most eyes.

Although youve maddened me about the book thing as I have just bought a book on how to make a full RPG game using VB haha grim.

Mind you I have one on C++ now too. so vb isnt a totaly waste of time although many do prefer .net

Idea for a tutorial:

Just the basic syntax of vb.

For me that is the hardest part about any language, learning what the proper syntax is.

I would do it but I got so much other things going on (currently trying to figure out how to read data from an other process's memory) that I can't commit to it.

Also need to specify if the tutorial is for vb6, or vb.net, cause as you said there is a difference.

using the windows API ReadProcessMemory - I'm doing it in C#

I found an example online that may be my answer, about to go try it now.

Its just something in the API declaration.
