Ok... I guess someone removed the old post? For avatars, you ONLY put the url, no img code. For signatures, you need an img code. And please, keep it
within the max sizes stated in the forum rules.

Make the file name shorter... if you are using photobucket (not sure about other sites), have it in the main area, not in too many sub-albums... both
those things make the url (link) longer.
