HELP PLEASE!

Every time I try to go into the regular mission editor, I get the error where it lets you send or don't send. I can't get into the c1 either. It just says Error: can't load blahblah. Could someone give me a new med or an update or something? THANKS!

Always a good thing to check out the Download Section..

Follow this link..make sure you put the file into your DFLW Game folder, create a shortcut manually.

http://www.dfbarracks.com/downloads/index.php?action=df&fid=...

Have no idea what you mean by "c1"...!!

I was thinking C4 when he/she posted in the public forum about this, but isn't that only converted for DF2?

yeah...

I got c4 like you said, and I can't get them to be playable in DFLW. When I click save, what do I do after that? Where do I save it to? Could someone tell me the steps after I created a map? thanks!

If it was a delta force game...We could help you. DFB doesnt have a base of ops for other nova games....

You wont find any convertions from one Nova game to another. If it is a legitimate DFLW question, then I might suggest sending a u2u to Peregrine Falcon. He's the go-to-guy on that one...

I know how to create a map. I need to know where to save it into to be able to play. Or what ".blank" I need to save it as. (like .bms or .mis) but here. Ok, I'll give you a list of what you might need to know: Windows XP, I downloaded the "DF:LW: MEDc Version 1.92b" from the Delta Force Land Warrior download section. I've done everything I need to to create a map. All I need to know now is how to put that map to be playable in single player and/or multiplayer. I'm trying to test out maps to make sure they work/ make adjustments for a cool map. I'm not THE MAP MAKER I just enjoy playing on my own map. I tried saving it in the Delta Force Land Warrior folder, but that didn't do any good. The game I'm using is Delta Force LAND WARRIOR. Thanks, and extremely sorry for all the confusion.

Did you Export to bms?

With DFLW, you can save as a .mis file, this is for the med to use when you re-edit..

You need to export to a .bms file, which is the format the game uses.

So, you need to save twice..

Make sure you save into the DFLW game folder...and the game will find it..

Ok, new problem ffs!

Ok, someone in DFLW told me that I had to export binary, so I did that. With fingers crossed, I opened up DFLW and I saw my map. I clicked on it, got my gear ready, and clicked accept. It didn't get to the load screen, and it was black. I thought "WTF!?" and it gave me an error saying PDMS or something .saved. Then it gave me the "DFLW has encountered an error and needs to close.". I clicked Don't Send and it closed. So now what? I put in all the general info. that I thought it needed, but then it had something that said Dialog File (.something) and I put something random in there. Is there any other general info. I need to feel out for it to work? Could someone give me a list of what I need to fill out? I'm soo sorry, but I need the help. EXTREMELY SORRY for the confusion, and THANKS!

This is exactly what I told you to do above !!

If you don't know what to put in a box..then don't..there are specific dialog names to use..or, just leave it blank..

Can you play the Normal SP/Multiplayer games without the game shutting down?

I can play singleplayer and multiplayer without DFLW closing. And you probably diid say that above, I'm just not the expert on the "Map Makers" language. lol.
Sorry. But yes, I can play single/multiplayer games without closing out.

OK, that means that your own map is the problem..

There's no secret, you just need to place a few items on the map..

There was a sample mission that comes with DFLW, why not have a play with that..

A basic map will need a terrain and a Start Marker for the version of map you are making..and..that's it...it will run..

I still get the same dang thing. This is pissing me off now. Expecially when the expierienced (spelling) map makers don't know how to get rid of this problem. Not talking about faulty advice, just my dang sistem. Seems everyone else's works. lol I'm getting too carried away. Maybe I'm not filling out all the general info needed. Idk.
