waypoints and .Bin files

I set up some custom waypoints in a bin file. Everything else in the bin works, I get my Custom waypoint names and everything. When I go to apply them to the map they do not show on the map AT ALL. cant toggle or anything I've tried several differant things but nothing seems to work. Everything else in the .Bin works fine my objectives, briefing ect.. any suggestions on how to get these to show in my map? I must have them in without them the player will get lost ... First I came across this problem..

I've often had problems like this if I create the bin file after I start making the map..

So, now I decide on the mission first, create the bin file, then start the map..then every thing is sweet..

Try deleteing the waypoints..then put them back in again, and set the new names..

that worked EE thanx. I'll normally lay my mission out first then build the map. I build my SP missions like a story I guess you could say. I'll just build my bin but leave them out of my folder until I start the map from now on to avoid this or any other problem it may cause.. thanx again

Cool..glad to help..

That's a good idea..I don't know why this happens, but when I did the SP mission for the EXP, I had all kinds of trouble whenever I changed something in the bin file..

So, now I either don't use the bin till I know it doesn't need editing, or, like you say, leave it out till the end..

ok... when i try to do the .bin file on the mission editor the waypoints i want come up fine, so does the win and lose subgoals. but when i go into the game, the briefing doesn't come up, and when i go into the level, the .wac works fine, but none of the waypoint names i chose didn't work like if i chose "Charlie" and renamed it to "Hotel Lobby" it still say Charlie on the game!!!! help

If I remember correctly, you have to go back to the waypoint (in the mission editor) and edit the name in item attributes.
