Map Punts One Day, Not The Next
I am in hopes someone here cna offer some insight into a strange problem we have been experiencing with our dedicated server (TKOTH, BHD, 32 player).
Let's say on a Tuesday, we host Map XYZ and all runs well.
On Wednesday we run Map XYZ again, and this time ANYONE joining after the map starts gets punted over and over. The people who were in the map when
the map started have no problems.
On Thursday we run Map XYZ again and have no issue.
This happens from time to time on random maps, so there is no discernible pattern. Some of these maps we had been hosting for the better part of a
year with no issue.
Thanks for any insight -

We use the standard Black Hawk Down Remote Manager by Conda.
Our host is Primary Target, but I have never heard anything bad about them.
Thanks for your reply.

Ill take a shot here....
Granted, I'll start off by saying that I dont have an immediate fix for your problem.
I've encountered the same problem b4 in Coop maps for BHD... I've been talking about different factors of this with one of the Admins, and we havent
solved it.
I know there is a post about this issue from about a year or 2 ago. If I find it, ill post it.
Anyways, a few things come to mind. I will agree with DEADLOCK about the possibility of it being a server sided issue.
Another is that there are certain items that are placed in a map which also cause the same autopunt problem. (don't ask me what items...lol)
The Conda manager has always been pretty solid, so I doubt thats your animal. Id look at proximity to the server and ping times of the folks trying to
join and play.
I hope that sparks a few ideas. Sry I couldnt be of more help at this time.....

No problem.
I agree that is more than likely a host side issue. I doubt it is ping related because I usually ping between 30-40 to the server and some maps get
me.
Guess we will weed the maps and then look at them more.
Thanks guys!

does the map have any AI (bots)??? Because thats the main thing that causes autopunts, it throws off the stability of the game, that may account for
it punting one day and not the next, but i suppose it could also be host sided.
Lest we forget Johnathan Evans and Brittney O'Right, my friends
