Moving things around in MED-DFX

Ok I'v started using the MED. I will save my comments for a different post.
How do you move things around in the 3d wire frame mode. I am not talking about up left or right, but up and down, and changing the angle. Like laying a ladder on its side so it is horizontal.?

Just though I'd ask.

P.S. it confusing using the numeric keypad. Since I'm right handed I am at a disadvantage. Yes I use my right hand for the mouse.....

Thanks

Changing an item angle (pitch and roll angle) is done through the item attributes menu and can be viewed in the 3d Wireframe view.

To select Item Attributes menu the item must first be selected (shows yellow when selected in my med). Then you click on the text in the bottom left section of the med to bring up the screen.

In the Item Attributes menu, half way down on the left side you will see an outlined box for 'Facing'. Contained within that box are options for changing Heading (direction the object points); Pitch (angle off ground from front to back); and Roll (angle from left to right).

As for the function keys, they have been pre-programmed by NovaLogic and many have been changed from the BHD meds that we have become familiar with. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about that (that I know of) short of remaking your own version of the med.

Thank you --- but .....

I like the med and am trying to use it from time to time.
I dislike the ability to be able to see the going ons behind the enormous dialog that holds the attributes..I double click the att window to get the dialog . is there a way around this , besides two monitors...lol
