Nice work there Loa! Reminds me of the Grand Canyon except for the brush!
Ive yet to play JO, so im curious are all those steep hills hard to get up? or did you add alot of places that you can get to the top through?

well some areas are tuff to run up but hey thats why nova added chopers and all that fun stuff. but to keep it real i allways have areas where players
can run up or now adays drive up both of those terrains do have roads carved in to them leading to the top of hills wheres theres some kind of flat
areas then from there you pretty much have to run it but yes you can get to the top of the hillls

np...anytime! I was wondering how hard it is to make terrains for JO.
Maybe a map like yours above but with access to other canyons thru the mtn sides. like a natural tunnel.

Thanks for the heads up on that..
I'm very new to this arena.. no pun intended... but it seems like the terrain building is left up to a select few out here in the real world. Hard to
find info on it , except in here. All this stuff must be TOP SECRET... lol
Excellent map by the way..
Since I'[m in here
Q1. Ive seen maps with different water elevations. An example would be . Water behind a dam.. Is that at all possible, easily.. just thought I'd spark
your thinking processes..

well the water height is defined in the trn file and is up to the trn maker to add a height if they wish,i allways leave mine at 0 and let the mapper
figure out the height they want.
now if your thinking haveing water on one side of a dang and not the other that can not be done the game engine lays out a flat surface of water that
lays under the entire terrain when raised by a mapper you see low points get filled.
the only way to make it so you can have water on one side of a object and not another is to make a new object with a water texture and import that in
to the game as a object like a building to be placed in a map and raised or lowered

so come on then fella how do i get the maps? and install?
i must say they are very good and with a natural tunnel in there somewhere there would be a very good idea for a freaking brilliant co-op map. im
thinking scaramanga - bond island.

well personanly i dont think nova cares for there moders much, so i dont think they want anything i have to offer. and no eta on the models for game
play. as for finding terrains if you have made them for bhd there more or less the same.just some slight diffrences.and you could probably do a google
search on jo terrains to find some more im sure theres some out there.
