Which character / teammate in use ??

Is there a clever way to tell which character and teammate the player has chosen ??
Reason: when I use a sound file I want it associated with the right character. I don't want King 6 talking to GasCan if the player chose someone else ...

each sound file you add should have multiple versions for each character. the game itself determines which one to use.

use the lw dialog referance made by Othello and you can play each sound as well as see which ones have multi versions.

Just to add a little more to this..

In LW..there are dialogs for each player..depending on what character you chose..like Jet said..

So, if you say use diag Dfdlgja, number 301, there is a different dialog for each of the 5 characters....

If the player chooses a particular character, the game uses a set reply for each one, and they are all similar..just not quite the same..

Using the Dialog reference, you can see and here what is played, or put on the screen..then, you can decide if that particular number..like 301, is OK for your map..
