DFLW::Helicopter problem

Hi!

I have a serious problem with my helo.
Im trying to use a helo to take off from a place and go to the other waypoint, but the helo wont wait for the player and its hovering and dont go to the other way.
I have two area tigger one for the take off
and one for landing
and have two waypoints, and have a start player point.
I have 3 group, one for the blue player, other red, and for the helo a nother.

I tried this but wont work:

Event 0
If: Group1 ( Blue Player) is in area 1

Then: Redirect Group 3 ( Blackhawk ) to Waypoint list
and set Group3 velocity to 35kph.

But when the game start the helo is flying up and stay in the air.

Please help!

Sorry for my bad english!!!

Ok bud first of all set your helo to team neutral green then in your events set it like this if palyer is within area trigger 1 for example then change group velocity of helo and redirect helo to helos waypoints.

Ok if you want it to land at one waypoint then wait and then take of again if you,ve got dftfd installed then download thisblackhawk demo

this will show you how to get a helo to take of land wait then take of then repeats it self again hope it of some help

hmm yeh pretry much what he said

you don't need to area triggers just for the chopper to land

1) create chopper
2) name the group called chopper
3)change choppers atributes so group is called chopper
4)set a few 3 - or more way points
5) set waypoints name and colour of lines and check does not loop
6)change the way point markers atributes so the number of it goes in accending order from where you want your chopper to go e..g point 1 where the chopper will first go
6) set area trigger just round the internal bit of chopper
7) set your events

and you should be away, i remeber doing this for the first time it was all acting up when people told me to set the Z value

but i don't have to not for nothing it should be on the ground and not hover and it will fly and not just scrape allong the ground

i duno why loads of people say you have to set the z value :D
