C2K name editor

Hey I have this problem with the C2K name editor. When I go to hex my name.It will not work. I mean the name ediditor works fine, I is just when i am finished hexing my name. The name will appear in the box but will not show up in the game. I don't know what the prob is. I am using DFLW .42. Maybe the program is for the last version. Can someone help?
