Tunnel spawning markers

I have made 21 maps to date, so I have a fair idea what I'm doing. However, I cannot seem to get players to spawn in my tunnels if I make more than one marker. The first one will work fine when tested, but as soon as I insert another, the players die on initial spawn and subsequently spawn on the surface rather than down in the tunnels. I am sure I have the correct Z levels (slightly above the tunnel floor level.)
I have posted this problem in DFHQ a week ago, but only one guy tried to help. (with no success).
Is it possible to have multiple spawn markers in tunnels???? Who can help me?
PerigrineFalcon, do you have any ideas?:(

theres a few ways around this

i think this happens because when DFLW came out it had a problem with people getting stuck in clitches so in an update they genericly fixed this problem with the CLITCH DEATH and since the spawn death may be because at some point the spawn is touching inside the ground(caused by even normal delay[200MS-600MS] from host to client) this is why sometimes only the host doesnt die, but i dont recall if it was ever possible to put in a tunnel spawn in dflw.

i wasnt aware that 1 spawn in a tunnel would work i know that host can spawn in tunnels sometimes if the 1 spawn in tunnels work try setting each spawn to a different group 5 spawns = 5 groups.

ok the few ways ive found to get around this.

1. to put the spawn dirrectly over tunnel entrance
2. place all or most tunnels at or above ground this way all spawns are above or at ground level(the drawback to this is it kind of limits the map just to tunnels) but you can put walls around the tunnels if you want to have both above/below ground play.
3. this is the most tricky but works rotate tunnel sectiions 90 degrees(now a vertical tunnel section) and rotate tunnel side or corner 90 degrees(used as tunnel floor) place tunnel section so the top just breaks the surface place spawn above this and surround it with walls so u cant fall into it the outside playing field

Tunnels spawns

Thanks Falcon... It's nice to know that DFLW is flawed and not my efforts.
I tried the separate groups thing but doesn't seem to work (assuming I followed the correct procedure). I guess I will just Spawn over some tunnel entrances and block of the doors. I like the map but few players go down in the tunnels, unless I can force them to., ha ha.
Thanx again, cya around
