Could you clarify what exactly you are trying to do..
From my understanding of your post it sounds like you want to be able to host a Game thats visible on NovaWorld and also lets you have your friends
join in on the LAN at the same time.. or its possible that you simply want to be able to host a LAN match..
If you simply want to have them play in a LAN game (which no one from the outside world can join) thats fairly easy..
Just make sure you install the IPX protocol on each one of the LAN pc's..
You should be able to do this from your windows control panel.. under network..
Anyhow.. once all the pc's on the LAN have IPX installed.. simply start up the game and choose LAN/IPX rather than NovaWorld when you start hosting
the server..
Then each player will look for LAN games rather than NovaWorld games and they should be able to see your server on the LAN. .
Thats the setup for simply having a LAN match.. however.. if you want to actually have ALL six computers able to play on a server that you have listed
on NovaLogic.. you need to configure DF2 to use a different mp_gameport value in each client PC's .cfg file. . and then forward that unique port to
the corresponding pc..
basically for each PC.. set the mp_gameport value in the .cfg file to a unique port.. then forward that port to that PC's internal IP address ..
then each PC is able to send and recieve data to and from NovaWorld and your game server. . because they all are running on seperate ports..

network problems
Haveing everyone play on the land is no problem. It's when I set up a map on Novalogic that they can't get into or apparently no one else.
Does anyone know why when you set up an A & D that I can only defend?
