How old.
Memery does play tricks these days, so not sure if I already replied to this one Guys. I am probably one of the Oldest , at 61. Started with DF1 and
straight throught the lot. Registered with Nova years ago as TheWidowmaker. Cut idown short to Widw, with Noskill. So Now I am Widow_Noskill. Still
have not got much better ,lol, But I do enjoy the game. That my Friends is the most important thing of all.

12 when I started playing DF2, Im 17 now and i think its fair to say that im becoming of the "Advanced" class of headbustin. haha :D

Well I don't mind sayen that I'm 50, And I can still dance circles around the young ones and drop them anytime on the Paintball field. They may be
able to pee me off on this dang machine, but I've been playen PB from the beginning. Well live til you can hunt no more.:D

A new "old" one.
Well, after reading all the posts, I'm taking a deep breath to tell you all that I am at least a couple of months older than 70. Sorry, Luckyjfl
(Widow_noskill), but I guess I'm now the oldest to confess. I hadn't planned on posting my age in my profile because I didn't want to be left out in
the cold by the young'uns. I will say this, that until each time I look into a mirror, I seem to look out of 35 year old eyes that wish they were 25.
My birth certificate says I was born at 7:00 am on Friday, December 13, 1935.
I may be old in body but I'm young enough to play computer games. EE said something like you gotta do something beside mow the lawn. I agree. Not
only do I still mow the lawn but in the winter, like now, I shovel my 60' x 15' driveway everytime it snows but I would rather play on the computer.
Sadly, when the snow gets to be deeper than 8 inches, I have to shovel to get the car on the road.
Command & Conquer, Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, Age of Empires 1 w/ ROR expansion got me started. Then I came across DFL2 demo and that started me in
playing DF. I trained as sniper in US Army using an M1 Garand with open sights shooting at 1000 yard man-sized targets, and when I started playing
the DF2 demo, it was unrealistically easy to hit very distant targets especially using the scope and binoculars. I then got DFLW and that was a bit
harder but I still could take everyone out with one shot using the scope in prone position. I even used the prone position inside the pyramid and
could take out each enemy before he could react. Recently I bought DFBHD, and found that I could effectively use both crouch and prone. My problem
became my unawareness of map scripting and when I went for a hill on my left, I was declared AWOL. Bummer!! My thinking was that if I used the hill
as an advantage I could snipe out everybody in the same way that I could in the DF2 demo. Oh, well, if you don't succeed, try, try again. SniperS...
says I should go in and flash-bang 'em all.
I'm a newbie here, and I have received some help and advice, so I hope I will improve my skills
I do intend to backtrack though the DF games and obtain DF1 and DF2 so that I will see the progression of game changes and difficulties.

Hah, I am 52 and just servived a heart attack, and the first thing I have done when I came home from the hospital was turn on my computer.
Age is not inportant, having fun that is the real way of life. so I think I start a little late with gaming but I love it!
