I Remember when.......
I remember when athe first pocket calculator came out, it was about 5 inches wide, 1 1/2 inches deep and 8 inches long, it ran on 4 aa batteries and
only did the 4 basic functions, and it cost about $10, that's when the adult wage was only about $50 a week.
I remember when the first video game came out, it was tennis, 2 ping pong type bats hitting a ball, in B/W, with up and down control only, made by
Sheen I think...
I remember when Tandy released the 4k machine, yeah, 4k of Ram, huge hey...
I remember when a video recorder was a huge reel to reel job that they had at school...speaking of reel to reel, I still have a 7" reel to reel tape
recorder up in the loft....anlong with the 2 commadore 64's and the 3 commadore Amiga's. out in the shed is an old 8088, and they all still work! I
gave away the old Apple II e as spare parts, but the tape drive still works on the 64..
Regards

Lol I sort of miss the screaching noises when the game was loading, I also remember everybody copying games was very easy tape to tape, unfortunately
a lot of them wouldn't work.
Ahhhhh the Amiga the hours I wasted on that machine.........the good old days :D

I wrote this on Christmas day.
I remember when Dad was a superhero !!!
I remember when Mom could make the pain go away with a kiss.
I remember when my Big brother would defend me to the death !!! (In the school yard)
I remember when my Little brother would spin on his head to make me laugh.
I remember a beautiful dog named Satan, back when I didnt know who or what Satan was.
I remember the first time I tied my own shoes.
I remember the first girl I ever kissed. And the last, my wife.
I remember when Christmas was so amazing. One year we each got Dad one gift, but oddly enough it was just that, enough.
I remember the first video games. Pong ruled !!!
I remember the smell of Old Spice on my dad's neck as he carried me to bed after I fell asleep under the Christmas tree.
I remember thinking that my Dad was still holding the bike seat as I traveled down the street.
I sit and think now that I have had a great life, dispite all the close calls, and tragedies.
Merry Christmas to all of you, I hope this brings back some fond memories.
I'm gonna go hug my sons.
HULK

I remember when the only Online Gaming was done over the phone talking to your boy about how he got past that ClownKing on Atari's "Journey" game. Sad
that a rock group had a game out way back then.

I remember the first TV I ever saw. It was in a store wiindow. The first time I ever sat down and watched a TV program was over at my Granddaddy and
Grandma's house. They were one of the first people to get one in my hometown. I think this was around 1952. I don't recall what program I saw.
I was home from school sick in November, 1963. My mom was gone to take my little sister to the Dr. I turned on my radio to listen to some music and
the announcer was talkiing about President Kennedy being shot in Dallas. I literally ran to the living room and turned on the TV. Walter Cronkite
was giving the news that the president was dead. And then he choked up as if he was going to cry.
I remember sitting in front of the TV and watching the Beatles first appearance on Ed Sullivan.
I remember before I was born, my mamma was bending over planting onions in the garden and I was pulling them up behind her.
