New map assistance...

good day.

i am very new to making maps in DF:LW. i have a few questions that i have not been able to find the answer to.

1) for a deathmatch mission, i have made a map with several 'start, dmatch' markers located around the perimeter. is this the correct marker to use to setup the map for this type of mission?

2) how is 'start, primary, dmatch' to be used?

3) how do i direct players to the "center" of the dmatch mission (i assume through waypoints) so they do not leave the area of play?

4) is it possible to respawn AI's in a deathmatch?

1. yes

2. never used it, just use the one above.

3. place a "waypoint,mp.alpha" marker in the middle of the map.

4. no, and why have AI in a deathmatch, it's a waste of time for all players, they should be fighting each other.

Regards

2. start, primary dmatch are only used on the very first spawn after that players spawn at start dmatch markers.
:a few reasons i would use any start primary spawn is to allow a chute spawn so players can get a lay of the land then keep them on the ground after that, if you have a start delay on a server to keep every1 on the ground so u dont chute in and start off 500m away, or u may want to start people off somewhere like a armory, ect ect

4. as Eagle said y would you want AI in a DM, uless you want to keep players busy in a nearly empty server then use remove if X players, true AI cant respawn however you may make it appear as if they have by using events example: if group 1(AI) is dead then teleport group 2(AI) to waypoint 1, vaporise group 1(if you want to get rid of the body).
