no terrain in med
im looking at the manual for bhdmed and it says to pick the terrain i like. so i open the small white box and it opens this bigger white with not a
single terrain. can someone pleaz tell me i can find some terrain to download and tell me how to put it in med?

i just went to the place i bought the game from the guy said it was already used and that the guy who last had it deleted most of the mapping files.
but still let me know about a terrain i can download.

Duh!
If you purchased an original CD of BHD second hand it is impossible to delete any of the contents of the CD. It sounds like you have purchased an
incomplete illegal copy?

yes i finally got the wake island terrain but now i have a new prob. i dont have any mission tiles or somethin like that.:o

im having this prob that when i go to play my mission on the dfbhd it says !polytrn color map not specified 15% through the load.

it is legal
my mom says she bought it from some guy at a store called Q-games or Z or something i was going to spend $30.00 on the dfbhd but the guy say he had a
already used CD in perfect conditon for only $20.00. so shut up about a illegal copy. besides it has everything the box,cd,all files, and the book
just missing the MED stuff which really ticks me off.:P

minigun, make sure you press "Post Reply" , not "New Topic", I just had to merge your reply back to the correct thread.
The Med is installed when you install the game, you can not possibly have a disk without it. A new med is installed when you update the game to the
latest version, 1.3.0.37.
If you have the wake Island Terrain, that is not from the original install. It is from a 3rd party, sounds like it's not installed correctly, or you
don't have all the files for the terrain.

Ok, I don't know what might be your problem... Seems like you're able to start the editor just fine, so you probably have the file called
"dfbhdmed.exe" in the folder where you installed BHD (especially after upgrading to v 1.3.0.37), right...?
Maybe you should try uninstalling & reinstalling the game, and see if that might help...?
Anyway, people in these forums will be glad to help you out with most editing questions you might have...

alright peeps seems i found the main prob. well it is almost christmas so i was goin to relatives for a while. took my game with me and installed it
on their comp but instead of puttin it on minimum install i put full. played around a bit and finally got to the MED went to terrains and i had every
thing even flat land.
:D:Djust 1 thing i need some noob tutorials on how to make things stop,drive,and stop:D:D

Take a look at the Med Manual. It's states the max number of each item you can have, and I think 1000 bad guys exceeds the limit.

On all the DF mapeds the limit of peeps in the map is 256, or at least it is this way for df1-df4...
