LW & TFD Terrain Exchange

Hi!
I would like to have a thorough explanation how the TFD bms2mis converter really works?? I lately downloaded TFD maps but unable to open it because it has a LW terrain. I checked the Terrain title in the LW mis file but don't know how to transfer it to the
TFD mis file. I thought the converter does it automatically. I don't think that is the case!! Can anyone HELP???
