GAME FREEZING
Hey was wondering if you have any suggestions about lowering the incidence of the game freezing with DF2. This occurs to me an average of once every
2 or 3 hours of play time. I have a fast(2.3+) computer with a high end video card and almost nothing elso on my computer. Why does the thing
freeze? I had Windows ME but switched to Windows 98 in hopes an OS change would help which doesnt seem to have made a difference. I have removed and
reinstalled the game a few times and updated it . Anybody have any other ideas or reasons?

Could be your video card overheating. If you are overclocking you should turn it off or consider additional cooling options.

Do you mean turn off the computer? What other cooling alternatives are there?

No, just if you have overclocked your graphics card reset them to their normal values.
Additional fans can be installed in the computer to aid in cooling.
A way to find out if cooling is part of the problem is to take the cover (or sides) off of the case and run that way -- if you still lock up inside of
2-3 hours it is probably something else.
