The multiplayer BHD is awesome. I love the game and I love being on a squad.

People may buy it for the gunning, but still they released it to commemorate the soldiers of '93, no matter how you look it that's why they did it,
the jungle, does it look like Somalia has a jungle? Go to a map and point out a jungle for me in Somalia. Nothing can be perfect, but you can also
make the AI incredibely hard too, try making a map or trying one of the SEVERAL BHD single player maps in the database, the AI in some of them is
extremely hard where they're like army trained and hit you with one shot. DF2 is nice, but admit it, it's not like it's going to win best graphics of
anything, plus that seems more arcade like because of everyone jumping and tree climing etc....as for BHD being arcade like, I will admit that it's
like a pac man thing except in first person and with humungous guns, nothing really tactical about it though, as for Historically accurate, the game
is on the low side of the accurate, but none the less somewhat accurate, details were left off because of reasons that can't be discussed by the U.S.
army, so keep your mouth shut before you think it through, there are drawbacks to every game, but admit it this was to attempt to tell the story of
'93 in Somalia no matter what people say.

the only thing i despise about about dfbhd i dont know if any of you guys have this problem the graphics on the game are not really good ..... i got a
crappy video card though nvidia ge force something really cant remmeber:D

yep i agree, at least they amde a world wide game about this 93 battle. tv and other stuff never aired or they just said that we were there for
nothing hell it was vietnam all over again, clinton and his staff never cared about the troops there u really wanna know what they cared for , the
Yeltsien uprising thats all they cared about they didnt care if 18 americans got killed in a far away place like somalia. no they just wanted Aided.
Col.Austin u have to look at it through a soldiers view, at least novalogic was trying to portray the men who fought at least they tried to bring back
what happended there to the world like tv never did, at least they tried to reconigize the fact of trh ebattle and what the rangers did. sure ppl dont
care about the facts and ya 90% wont, at least nova had the guts to make a series about the most elite and welltrained force in the world, DOD tried
to close it down becuase it was giving away secrets. but DOD thanks them for making BHD and helping the warrior foundation. ya MOH is a good game and
Ghost recon to but they never try to portray soldiers that were dedicated to thier service, country and people as much as BHD did. sure the intro to
MOHAA has the "valour" stuff butt did EA really and i mean really tried to portray what really went on in WW2? i havent seen a WW2 game yet portraying
why we fought WW2 ppl just only care for the Big A$# guns as u said. Luckly EA is backing u up with MOHPA and ya i want te game to cuase thats the
only game i have seen about WW2 that portrays the american soldier in WW2, Ghost Recon dont get me started. 1. so many ppl just buy it for the BIG
gun.
BHD portrays or tries to portray the duty, sacrifice these young men went through in there ordeal of hell. so like Havoc said not every game is
perfect and ya i admit i was wrong with a few things bout BHD, everyone makes mistakes. and like Havoc said they made this game for the troops who
fought there. and u want to talk about Quality for MOH? beielve me i had so many problems with that game that EA even said to call a rep cuase they
couldnt fix it.
COLAUSTIN remember one thing that BHD was made as a tribute to the soldiers who fought in the 93 campaign.

OMG
TRUST ME Novalogic didnt make BHD to commemorate the soldiers, Novalogic heard of the Movie Black Hawk Down and they watched it and saw a Delta Force
character in it... Then BAM! They Created Delta Force: Black Hawk Down....
Look Commando I know there arent Jungles in Somalia, you know games that are 100% Historically accurate are not such good games... they need a Twist
if you will.... BHD is repetetive and is an Arcade Shooter, none the less... they had some few historical facts that were true..... But this is a Game
Commando, not a Biograhpy of the Battle of 93..... This is a horrbile FPS Simulator... If you want something REAL Try Ghost Recon, or Raven Shield....
Even the New Joint Operations looks like $HIT... its just a crazy Arcade Shooter with military models and [Censored].... If you play
Ghost Recon, Raven Shield, or Operation FlashPoint, you would understand how a true game is supposed to work.... you all come from the Counter Strike
type.... Im a Tactical Shooter, I dont run with a m249 killing thousands of Somali's as you stated Commando.... I like to use tactics, and control my
team... In BHD its just one big Shoot Out thats Pointless.... and It doesnt even Support Coop? Whats with that huh?

youre so right col austin the movie waas made by a complete diffrent company then nova logic and nova seen the movie and tryed to copy it to the
highest standerd becasue when i heard df5 was coming out i was told it was a completely difffrent name then black hawk down so i figure that nova r
just going to make games about any old war i think next they are seriously gonna make a game about in iraq ..... not being nasty but with terrorists

Austin see what u think bout the movie i really dont care, cuase the movie was good and stuff but doesnt beat We Were Soldiers.
Ur a tactical shooter correct? well ya tactics tacitics tactics. well obviously what u like is a tact game i.e Ghost Recon, then again once ur
fighting in recon isnt that a big shoot out to? am i not correct all fire fights are shoot outs. in the army its just with bigger guns. ive played
Black Thorn and it was kinda horrible. erm if u were in the real battle, real war any war, and 800 soldiers come out at u screaming firing what
tactics would u have, ud be scared Sh**** less, what ur gna shoot a couple then move shoot a couple throw a nade and take cover? no the best thing ur
tactic would be is stay in one position and fire ur weap. Obvisouly ur the type of player who likes the SWAT thing like controling and tactical thing.
well unfortunately Nova made the mistake cuase if u look at the real Delta they do everything like SWAT, Green Berets. they use tactics everything. So
dont burn the game becuase there were no tactics cuase as i stated above 800 guys screaming at u firing, what tactics do u got? hmmm seems to me that

Ya im a tactical shooter gamer myself and i plan in blowing bases up for df2 whats the best way to get in and stuff, but if u just think that ur
playing a SWAT game in bhd and do everything like it then it could be fun,
And one more note SpearHead had so many bugs and Sh*** they told me to delete and send it back to excahnge then call a EA rep in California

they cant make a game bout iraq m8, cuase all the stuff is still deemed classfied, the only reason why they could make df1 and 2 and LW was all that
stuff was made up and the DOD let them, iraq is still classified, so no go for iraq, BHD is declassifeied, the only mission that nova can make are the
E-2,E-3 air fields Saving Lynch(Army Ranger, Navy SEAL) and Nasiriya thats it nothing more nothing less

radio :P, erm u can buy Conflict Desert storm the last mission is assaintaing saddam i think

Help!
I have been playing Delta Force for a while now. I just got Black Hawk Down. Is there or is there not a way to play in COOP mode?? I have seen
links to the Master Addon, which I downloaded. It still does not seem to work, unless I am doing something wrong, and a lot of times crashes my
system entirely. I even went so far as to contact Novalogic Tech support and the guy told me that there are no and were never plans to incorporate
COOP mode. Is this the case? If possible, could someone provide me instructions on how to play in COOP mode? Many thanks.

I just just recently purchased BHD, and these are my comments on it.
BHD is sort of a mixed bag. The graphics and weapon modelling seem to have improved over the earlier Delta Force releases. This is good.
Now the bad.
I am not quite sure what the PSP's ( = Player Spawn Point ?? ) are used for? Also, they are green
or red aura'd pyramid shaped things, which change color to blue when you are near them.
Sometimes enemies just magically reappear (spawn) in areas you have just cleared. What a load of shyte!
And baddy helicopters dance around in the sky unrealistically while taking pot shots at you. Again, what a load of Krap!
These three points above make BHD more of an arcade/ fantasy game rather than a "simulation", which I don't like!
So, overall, I consider BHD to be the WORST game of all the Delta Force series to date. Bad enough so that I am seriously considering reselling my
copy.

I might have misunderstand you, but did u really say that u dont know what the PSP do? Then I suggest you open your eyes abit when u play the game,
and notice how ppl use them. BUt basically its a "spawn" zone u or the opposing team can take and then respawn from that point, instead of the
original one.
Magical appear lol, well we do have something called medics in this game, which can revive you, if you dont get a headshot or are knifed!
The pot shots from the chopper is other players shooting at you lol!
I suggest you try to learn the game before u make such statements you have done here. In other words RTFM (read the f****** manual) :P
The game is not the best out there, but I love it ! :D

Thanks for comments. I play in single player mode, so these PSP's I think are not really appropriate. OK, but this is still a "fantasy" thing and not
a simulation.

You die once then the game automatically uninstalls and you take it outside and bury it?????
Never been shot 'by' a heli but i have been shot by someone in a heli :o

foreign missions :P

I think its a great shooter game but 2 things bug me about it. one when you climb a ladder the guy doesn't put away his gun making it a little
unreallistic.2nd I wish there was unlimited objects in med.other then all that its a great shooter game one of the best so far that has come out on
the shelves I think..

lol, u can play bhd even with a lowly 56k. just pick ur servers. i run only a 56k (awaits abuse :P) but still don't do to bad.. u just have to
choose ur game style to counter act the lag u'll get.
If there wasn't a limit to the amount of objects we'd be getting some really laggy maps around the place, so that would be y the limit is there. (and
yeah i have hit the limit quite a few times so not really a fan of it, but understand y it's there)
