Lan help
Hey...this is a message to people in Auz that know about ther LAN equipment pricing.... i want to buy just the basic stuff so i can run a lan with me
and a friends computer...but i dont know prices or any thing...if any one can help i would be very greatful!

As per our msn discussion. Lan card up to A$20 is good enough, and 8 port switchable hub A$45 - A$90, depending on where you look. Plus cables. Keep
an eye on the second hand market, there's some great bargains out there. I got my AOpen AOW-608(RRP A$200) for A$45, almost brand new , from "Cash
Converters".
