16+ player10615
Ok I d/led the patch for more than 16 players (DF2), but what happens is that the server shuts down as soon as I start the program.
Does this patch work on XP? if not is there another program I can use.
Thanks

Howdy
I have tried several different multi-player patches over the last 5 years and have found that none of them work.
Deadbold left a post somewhere about it and as I recall it is some sort of proprieatary code that Nova is reluctant to let go of and because of this
no one can get a real deal going.
Personally I wish that nova would join the new millenium (so to speak) and get cracking and serve we consumers better. I send emails to them and never
get a reply (go figure) but then they didn't even include a 16+ for BHD

I don't know of any that work but I know why your server shuts down when you use it -- the patch was made with a trainer tool and the cb doesn't see
the difference.
If you want to search the forums you should find some additional info.

there is a program for BHD that does let you host up to 50 players.... you gotta have the horse power to run it though. My measly 390kbs upload can
only handle 22, and 20 comfortably, but 20 is fun when it's 10 on 10.
Would love to see how it ran with 25 on 25...that'd rock!

BHD is different. It actually has the capacity to have 50 players built into it -- see the LAN game type. For it to work you just need to enable it
with a few tweaks. I was talking about the DF2/LW/TFD games.
