DF2 Terrains
is there a method of importing DF2 Terrains into DFLW or DFTFD?

Thank you for replying.
I was a little confused during and after reading the information. I was uncertain as to whether or not they were discussing DF1 to DF2 conversion or
DF2 to DF3... They seemed to 'switch tracks' a couple of times... lol
The process being described sounded interesting, as were some of the results, but the 'method' of conversion was not really spelled out. I was hoping
for a utility that would remove all that hard work. Not that I am afraid of hard work, in regards to graphics, but attempting to do it without
instructions would tend to make it a pointless exercise... lol
So, for the time being, the answer is both yes and no...
Thank you again for being so kind in replying and proving the information that I requested. Much appreciated.

My trajectory with playing NL games was "F-16 Fighting Falcon," the DF1 demo on that disc, then the DFBHD Demo, and somewhere before or after, the
Comanche 4 demo and Comanche 4. I had played the DFLW demo where Gas Can clears the pyramids in Egypt, but basically, I went from DF1 to DFBHD and
skipped over everything in between.
So seeing you hanging here waiting for answers that I can't personally provide got me down. But if you're gonna find answers, I'm confident predicting
they'll be at NovaHQ.net. Or the DFBarracks.com littermate site DFReload.com.
Best of luck!

Interesting. DF1 to BHD. Cool. As I am a Linux user, I'm kind of 'stuck' in the middle. DF1 and DF2 and most above TFD just don't run properly... But,
then again, they weren't supposed to anyway... lol LW and TFD run quite well, although sometimes, they will reset my screen resolution after I
quit... lol
I usually trawl the mapdb for single/coop games and modify them as I need. Primarily because my map making skills (and I use that word very
loosely...) are not sufficient to publish anything. But I have always enjoyed DF since I purchased DF1 many years back during my 'windows' days. Linux
for 13 years now...
Sorry... Droning on again... Anyway, thank you for the advice, much appreciated.
Have a great day.

TheDF2 terrains have been imported in to every DF game. Whether the file exists online still is another story.
