it is officialy on the website, but it redirected me to novalogic's homepage. did a view source and its all Java, but i found the picture on
Novalogic.com:

but to view the directory itself requires a login. So as to say this is not a rumour made up by someone. but truly something from Nova. it may be just
a test to look at a possible title, could be an expansion pack for DFX, or a game for a console. who knows if this is what "The Unit" will be named. I
think its preperation for official news, and will await it to be announced.
anyway a good find. and i for one will add anything Nova puts out to my collection.

I have serious doubts that that guy is really a beta tester. Oh and yeah they re-named it to Angel Falls now, interesting title choice to say the
least. Perhaps it speaks something about the game itself. (There is an Angel Falls in Venezuela).

Hopefully, whatever they release will be good. However they are a business and we all know what that means. Nova certainly needs to produce
something better then the crap they have made since BHD. If they don't take their time and hurry this new game, maybe it could be called "RUSH" -

Look carefully at the pic, South america is ghosted into the backround. and nope that guy is not a beta tester it was posted as a joke.

They have been working on it for years now(since DFX release and are starting to ramp up for an official announcement, all that will be left at that
time is finishing it up, private beta testing, tweaks, public beta(demo?) more tweaks, then final release, then yup the 1 single patch a month or so
later. so far they havnt rushed it out the door. BHD being a popular game came out a couple years after TFD, but Nova didnt actualy make TFD it was
contracted out to another developer to mod DFLW while Nova worked on a new engine for BHD inhouse. JO, JOE, then DFX came out relativly quickly
compared to BHD. all use the same game engine with tweaks and some updates as BHD uses essentialy a series of mods. Now theres this long wait thats
close to or longer than the differance of DFLW to BHD for a DFX and a new game. No rush since its been years now, and the screenshots that were
discovered on Novas site are also a year or more old, this says they are working hard to get the as bug free as they can since by those SS they
couldve finished in a shorter period of time.

You do relize ALL FPS games have problems with cheaters and cheats. within 24 hours of the demo release of COD4 cheats were available. most DF
cheaters like the stat servers wich are barely monitored, dont play on stat but in public servers wich is monitored better and with more vigilance,
what person/squad wants to pay for a server so it can be another cheat haven? you also get better maps too..

LOL no im not a spy, just payed attention to whats going on since the release of DFX, as well as past events with earlier titles. just put it all
together... and the beta tester issue was cleared up at Noworlds forums.

New game hey? sure why not 
been playing Unreal tournament 3 for a short while, and its not my kind of game... cant get in to these fragging ones.
so sure... im presuming it'l still be utilizing WAC script, no doubt there will be a 3D enviro for mapping, and no doubt theres plenty of
oppertunities to create applications for it.. so that'l do me just nicely. Just hope the graphics have moved forward a tad.

New game
I hope the new game has:
1. A better AI. Like the one in Rainbow 6 Vegas or GRAW. Not only is the AI in Vegas good, but they do a decent job of taunting/cursing the player
during combat.
2. A true 3D window for the MED. (Don't want an updated NILE because IMHO there's just too much to add/fix)
3. Coop play
4. Anti-cheats? Good luck with that. Every online game seems to have them. Call of Duty 4 is rampant with pirated versions and players using
hacks. And since there's no coop mode in the game, I'm back to single player only with it. 
5. While JO is a great online game, I missed having a single player campaign. Here's hoping there's a single player campaign in it, and make it
better than the one in Call of Duty 4. That would be awesome.
6. No weapon load out restrictions like the kind found in Call of Duty 4 or GRAW 2.
7. Decent night vision goggles like the kind found in GRAW or Call of Duty 4.
8. Keep or improve upon the JO online server menus/options. While there are a few limitations, its way better than other games like Call of Duty 4
or GRAW.
9. Don't put any text messages near the center of the screen. Some shooters seem to think I want to read what player X has to say, or that I need
some game msg to help me shoot better. This is getting as bad as the pop-ups in TV shows.
That's all that I can think of for now.

I agree here, but not an actual remake like DFX was of DF1, but taking the gameplay of DF2 that all those people on the old Nova forums had stated
when Nova had actauly asked a few years back.
Undoubtedly the graphics will have improved....

Hello kind sir! I've been hiding ;o)~
My team began serving BHD again back in November 2007. We had thought to switch over to EA Games BF2. Then we fell prey to all the mods they create
for the purpo$e of money. BF2142 was a flop. At the present we are serving BHD and BF2. Around April sometime we will start serving COD4 and may
drop BF2 as it has lost steam.
It is great to see so many familiar names and some new names as well.
I've been looking around for new info on Angel Falls but it is scarce. Knew I could count on the group here to have something.
