Nope.... even if you could all it will do is cause trouble....
you doing a coop?
Sounds like you may need to split the map up into smaller maps.
And if your doing coop, recycle the AI - teleport them else where when needed.

For vehicles/people, there are two limits. 65 for online, which you can go over (at around 120 all player names will turn to 'unknown'), then the max
limit is 255. If it is cooperative or not, I would do what IcIshoot said and recycle the AIs and/or break it into smaller maps...

I agree to both. If break the map into 2 parts, youll lower the item limit as well as reduce lag for slower pc's because they dont have to render as
many objects.

you could try reducing items to make room for more items
ill give a few examples
lets say you have a dinning room set with 8 tables with 6 bowls and 6 chairs each table. 48 chairs bowls and 8 tables. thats 104 items that really
have no value other than eye candy(a little cover from the tables)
reduce dinning room to 6 tables with 4 chairs each table and each table wouldn't necessarily have to be set for dinner lets say 4 of them are set
thats 24 chairs 16 bowls and 6 table total items 46. Ok lets say to you this looks to bare now add 6 chairs as a waiting area.
providing you spaced out the tables and chairs most people would think you adding to it but would of reduce items by 1/2 visually there shouldn't be
much difference and may even look less cluttered
ok lets say you've made a wall using 8M stone wall sections if you used 32M wall sections instead you could reduce # walls to around 1/4 of current
total.
why we are on walls lets say you decided to make a fence 3 sections tall when the same fence could be made 2 sections tall(unless 3 sections high had
to do with play) with few people noticing the difference that would save 1/3 of total fence pieces used for 3 section fence.
lets say you have an area that you want to look as if it has been ransacked and you've used 100 scattered paper items. Other than visually these are
100 useless items maybe replace 50 of them with 10 broken tables overturned barrels, chairs or something else you may have already used.
lets say you have a briefing area that has a table with 6 helmets and 6 NVGs you could achieve same visual effect with 3 helmets and 2 NVGs
In other words when going for a visual effect try to use the minimal amount of objects to do so
Remember not only does fewer total items used reduce lag also the fewer total item types used may reduce lag more(IE a 500 count map of which there
are 250-300 item types will most likely lag worse than a 1200 count map with only 75-100 different item types).
Over the years Ive become pretty adept at minimizing maps so holler if you would like me to run through the map and see what i can do for ya.
