teammates-final conflict, deep jungle
I am trying to make a map for the deep jungle mod and also one for final conflict mod and in final conflict there is no autonomous selection. can
anybody help me, how do u get teammates to follow and obey commands

That is because the Final Conflict med is using the 2.06b version of the med instead of the 2.05c... 2.05c has the things you need for teammates to
follow and take directions.

You can get them to follow you, but they wont take instructions...
To have them follow you, redirect them to waypoint 127 (I think)... it's labeled "goto player"

i used that goto player, it works but is there anyway to get them to follow directions. or will that not work unless it has autonomous behavior. which
meds have that option. does anybody know

I know the 2.05c does... AKA the Unlocked Mission Editor... it is in the BHD downloads section... I'm not sure about anyothers...

Any med should do it..
1..make the team mates group 1
2..create an event for the Team Mate to follow waypoint 126.
Tested in BHD, BHD:TS & BHD:DJ

Shorter way
Based on what I learned, instead of redirecting your teammates to player you can just redirect them to the nearest group then they will follow
you(player) and obey orders.

No Area trigger option
When I try to set up an event w/ if player enters area trigger/teammates goto player, but when i choose player in event triggers my only options are:
Berserk
Dialog Finished
Dialog Playing
Outside of Mission Area
Placed Satchel in Area
and the 3 view otpiond
I DL'ed 2.05c.zip and moved .exe file to main DFBHD game folder, but still only have those options. What's the problem anyone know?

You use SSN and make it 'if ssn10000 (player) is within area...'. The player is at the bottom of the ssn list.

still won't take orders
I have set teammates to do/do not use autonomous behavior, but I still can't get them to take orders. Getting team to hold pos. and team spacing
would be nice.

Redirect all of them to follow the player and set them to auto[something] behavior.

Did that already
I already set them to follow, that was first event. The orders menu items are green, and audible orders are given, but they don't ever actually "Hold
postion" or anything else. That's my problem. What to do is the question?

Yes they switch to group one then do autonomous stuff. I can e-mail zip.

Teammates to follow
I don't know if this could help, but I'm making a map, and i didn`t realize that my teammates weren't following my orders, so i try to do all the
procedure but it didn't seem to work, so I start a new map and when the first thing I did was place my teammates the area trigger and obvious the
start marker and create the event, that has been explain before, It work like a charm, so maybe that's why some people can't make the teammates to
follow..... Soon I will place my first map...
