Attaching Team Mates to Choppers

I tried just about every thing I can think of.

PLEASE, any ideas

1) How do I mount team Mates to a chopper
2) After the chopper (LITTLE BIRD) lands, How do I get them to follow a WP or to follow me.

I use BHD and TS and the terranova EXP

3) I can't seem to get the game to see the *.BIN files. Any idea on that

Joe

1) Have you tried redirecting them to it? (redirect them to: waypoint list 125, the waypoint number will be the ssn of the chopper.)

2) Once the chopper lands, simply redirect them to the WP, or to get them to follow you, redirect them to the nearest waypoint in list 127.

3) The *.BIN file must have exactly the same name as the map (*.bms, if you use the med, *.npz, or *. npj, if you use NILE). The *.BIN has to be converted from a text file, you can't just name a text file with a ".bin" on the end.

Yes, I tried that. As I get them attached I have to telport them off, then I can't get them to follow me.

Yes, and I tried that too. When the chopper lands, I have to use a telport target. to get them off the Little Bird. and then I still can't get them to follow me, or goto a way point

Yes and I tried that too. What happen is that the breffing doesn't show up. How ever the Win and lose gaols do show up, and that part seems to work. I just can't get the Brefing to work or the map name to work

Lol, NILE doesn't work on BHD (@ Chumly). ;)

http://www.deltaforcegaming.com/chrispy/misc/Reload3-SP.txt

This .txt file needs to be converted to .bin but inside there's a briefing area that works. Copy that into your .txt and convert it to .bin and see if it works (the briefing area might also have to be on top of the file below Triggered Text).

Hope it helps bro.

Chris :)

Thanks Chris. The sample you gave me, is what I use. And yes I used the txt2bin.exe on it and copied it into the DF BHD directory. The MED seems to see it. Just the game doesn't see it. This is weard.

Any ideas
Joe

Just trying to cover all the bases! LOL

I don't use NILE at all, and I must admit it's been a while since I did a BHD map, so I really wasn't sure.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. LOL :D

O have NILE, just hate it. The set up with the BHD MED is easy to use. I have to find out why the *.BIN file isn't working.

Thanks

Right click on your BHD shortcut and go to properties. In the target space, put a space then /d at the end so it looks like this:

"C:\Program Files\Novalogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down\dfbhd.exe" /d

That will make it so it reads documents in the BHD folder.

Just to be perfectly clear, shouldn't the "space-slash-dee" go inside the quote marks?

as in:

"C:\Program Files\Novalogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down\dfbhd.exe /d"

(hate to be nit-picky, but then, aren't computers even worse? And, be sure and let us know if it works.):)

I doubt that would work... the way we've been doing it has been working for years, nobody has ever said put it in the quotation marks. People have said you need to put /s /d, but that is a lie. /s makes it so it save end of game data, so whenever you play a map online, it saves stats for it.
