A & S Tutorial Request
I have searched the map builders forum and can find no reference to making JO Advance and Secure maps.
If one of you guys could knock out a quick tut (or post a link to one) I would be very grateful as it would save me many hours of trial and error.
The things I need to know are: what prawn markers to use, what base markers to use, how to set them red, blue, naming them A-B-C etc. And how to get
an X base for each team.
There is nothing in the DFX MED Manual.
Regards

Always create your map first, planning out where your takeover points will be, but not actually putting them in..
The X base is the original Spawn Marker..
Use "start, Blue Team", and "start, Red Team" as your start markers..
Use any of the LFP's in the "Objects" selection.
Now, when the map is tested, and your happy with the layout, place the LFP's..
They should number in the order you place them..
If you place 5, and the ssn numbers are say 555, 556, 557, 558, 559 and 560, then 555 should be A, and 560 should be F. But, sometimes, these all
switch around, and people on different teams see a different set of numbers, this usually doesn't matter..
Now, an example....using the MED...
Place 2 start markers on a map, one red, one blue..make sure they are start, blue team, and start, red team..
Select advance and secure as the map type..
Place 3 lfp's of your choice..
If you want the lfp to show as Blue team...then click on the lfp and go to item attributes..
In the top right corner, select group 3, then, make the team blue..

If you want the lfp to show as Red team...then click on the lfp and go to item attributes..
In the top right corner, select group 1, then, make the team red..

If you want the lfp to show as Neutral team...then click on the lfp and go to item attributes..
In the top right corner, select group 2, then, make the team neutral..

You don't need any events, the game will end when all the spawn markers are one colour.
