The Weather Man
Here is a program to help you add weather to your maps

The program will allow you to not only add
Rain, Lightning, Thunder, Gusty wind, set the time of day, and the speed which the sky moves at,
it also allows you to set the time that the rain, lightning, thunder, and wind starts, and finishes.
so now at a few clicks of a button, you can create your very own fully controlable weather scenario.
Why not generate a realistic storm!
have the wind start , then shortlyafter the rain starts, then shortly after a clap of thunder, a few minutes later the lightning starts

Thanks fireant.
working on version 2 at the mo.. contains the following new attributes
- Breathe time option added
set the time the players can breathe under water
- Snow added
create realistic triangles falling out the sky
- Intelligent AI Accuracy added
will increase and decrease the accuracy depending on the amount of players in game
- Chirping birds added
a mixture of many different birds creating a jungle feel
- Bats added
a mixture of bat sounds. nice sound for a night mission
-Owls added
a mixture of owl sounds. nice sound for night mission
-Night vision speech message added
during night operations pressing N will activate your night vision goggles.the goggles are helpful for dark nights and interiors but will limit
your depth
perception and contrast by pressing ctrl and the plus or minus will cycle the intensity of your goggles this is indicated by a power meter located at
the top right of your screen.- american voice extracted from training missions
-in game messages
allows you to add text messages to your map which can either be displayed at the top left ( consol ) or bottom left ( text ) at regular intervals
of time which you specify

ok...
I did da rain lightning tieme an all that but nuffin worked in my map. I renamed it to my map and set it to .wac and all that but nuffin - AnyHelp???

quite possibly the time you had set for the events to occur had already passed? , a slight variation in the filename, oppose to the name in the npj?
could be one of a few things.
download the new version ( V3 )

So then.... what does it do?
Brad G's JO Utility creates wac scripts for you. pure and simple, saving you time and hassle.
Features:
Formerly known as "The Weatherman" it still contains these features allowing you to:
* Set the speed of the sky
* Set the Time of Day
* Set the time the players can breathe under water
* Set Rain or snow, starting at a time fading in or continously

Alternate AI between Frag grenades & flash bangs
Alternate AI between Frag Grenades & Smoke Grenades
All of the above can be triggered with various triggers and stopped with a simular selection.

Allows you to preview the script this utility has generated, giving you the option to print the script, search, search & Replace, Save Cahnges, and
Copy, making it easier to add to your wac file.

cant get AIs to throw grenads,i have tryed 8 differnt ways still dosnt work. what event # do i use and what dose it mean.i have used object to trigger
them still no luck.
the utitly work great in all the other fuctions,i love it !!!thank you xxoo

just make a new event like this:
f never() and (Past(1)) then //New Event
ssnAnim(animation for grenade)
then just use the elapse condition
if never() and elapse(10) then //New
Event
that means he'll throw a grenade every 10 seconds. or it might not work because youre useing a default JO guy. not an IC-modified one. the regular JO
guys dont have nades i think

and btw, brad, nice util you got here. helped me out alot so i wouldnt have to hand-make the rain conditions or use the rain conditions in nile

| we can get them to start at like 10 to 15 seconds at the begging of game the problem we are haveing is
setting a trigger to start them at a later time it asks (how do you want to trigger the AI so they begin to throw the grenades?) and we try to use
this command(By a player killing/destroying an enemy or object) we try to sit it up so when we blow a door and go in to a room they would start to
throw flash bangs and grenades but so far no luck and we did use the ssn number of the door being bowen and right across from where you put the ssn
number it says (Event number) what is that?? what do we put there ?? and when we use the time delay to start it and try to kill the ememy to stop them
from throwing the grenades that does not work eather are we doing some then wrong ???????????????here is a copy of the wac file we where useing
