New update and the Autopunt
An intresting development here all.... Nova has a new security update. The game version is still 1.5.0.5....Here is the catch...
It wipes out the no cd patch.
Ive used the no-cd patch for almost a year, never used to have a problem...then recently, I noticed I was being auto-punted from every server I
joined. I'd host...and my server would auto-punt those folks... I dont run cheats or trainers or CB or any of that, I just want to play with any and
everyone and have a good time....
I noticed after I downloaded the update, that I have to go back to useing the disc to have single player or multi player options...If I try thru the
no-cd, both are blank...I went into a server that I know for a fact would auto-punt me. And it didnt!!!
I hung out in there for a good 5 mins and then some...no probs at all. So I havent done the full test by reinstalling the no-cd...But I think there IS
a related issue there between the patch, the no-cd crack and the auto-punt issue that we all hate.
Just wanted to let you all know. If anyone wants to test further, please post your result in this thread.

There is no real update as such..it's still the 1.5.0.5...
If you are running 1.5.0.5 with a NoCD, then try to update, it will see that you have the NoCD installed, and download the bhd.exe to replace it.
If you install the NoCD again, and update again, it will over write your NoCD..Again..
If you leave the original bhd.exe, then update, it will say your up to date..and leave you alone..LOL..

Update of the auto-punt.
As some of you know...I play alot of Coop. There are a few servers I haunt, and alot I try, yet get punted...You know how that goes.
Anyways.... Ive done a few tests and these are my results. (Thanks to Redneckretart for the idea!!!)
The only mod Ive run is the medic mod for BHD Coop...unfortunately, it really isnt functional anymore...So if you are useing that mod, youll have to
remove the weapon.DEF file from your game folder. You dont need to delete it, just move it somewhere...
I did that and WAH LA!!!...I didnt get auto-punted!!! Whats even better is that I could host Coop again and my server doesnt kick anyone....
So I hope that is of help to you other Coop lovers out there.

Just wanted to thank you for your work resolving this matter. I have allready been on two servers that used to auto punt and now work perfectly. Im
sure alot of players will miss the mod. I personally never used it but it came in handy having a couple of meds with me packing m60s and rpgs. lol. If
anything it will make coop games more challanging. So thanks again and see ya out there.:D

I noticed that when i host a coop map that my buddy and me can normally play but then if others join it punts them for no reason. I installed Team
Saber today and we went in to play some coop games and now all the sudden it keeps punting him. I do have the no cd crack in there and so does he, is
that the problem?

It would have probably punted him before anyway, he just joined close enough to when the map started and it didnt punt him...
