I think you should have stuck to the Gforce series
Radeon and delta force game don't really work to well together in my opinion.

i know they made a ton of them, dont remember if any were 128's?) Also, ck your game settings for options on switiching. The 9800, if a 256, will out
perform the 5700 gforce. (check for driver updates as well)

DEADLOCK = I have a 128 mb gfx card, and newest driver, and it still out perform (if u with "out perform" mean better gfx) my old FX 5700 about 4 or 5
times, at leats in my opinion :P
Iceman = Until now i stick to ur explanation :P, nothing else make any sence when the antialising wont work on a way better gfx card :S

I talked with Eagle Eye today and he agrees that Radeon cards and antialising do not work with Delta force games....
Sorry we can't give any good news

DEADLOCK = nope, i never tryed a 256 mb radeon card.
Iceman = k , thx for the help anyway
EDIT: I just tryed looking at Commache 4's options, antialising wont work there eighter...But, in DF Extreme i can run with 4 x antialising, i guessed
they must had fixed the radeon problem in that game :P..., i also dont think that radeon was such a sold product when the BHD game came out, thats
maybe why they havent thinked about radeon support back then (just my guess :P)

Thats the issue then, its a 128 card, not a 256. (the newer nova games need the 256 to run head on). I have a radeon 9250 / 256 , much weaker then
the 9800 series, and can run both games full out). As mentioned by Phoenix, youll suffer a bit running it like that. ie: i dont use it in DFX, (and im
currently in the TOP 50 player list according to nova. ) Thats lobby games though.

Great, but his issue is the fact its a 128 card, not a 256, i know several peeps w/that 9800 card ,(and its a beast on performance), also got great
reviews, as well as benched out far better then the 5700, made by nvidia. :P ps.... its like the age old argument, Ford vs Chevy, some like 1 some
like the other. Basically, he probably switiched from a 256 nvidia 5700 card, (in the old computer) to a radeon 9800 /128 (in the new computer), and
its obvious the 128 card isnt going to perform better, lol, but.... if it were a radeon 256 card, the radeon 9800 256 runs both games fine.

I'll Take your word on this issue deadlock as I no longer use a Radeon card. but I agree with you on the 128 vs 256 is a contributing factor.
Thanx for your assistance

No, m8, i 'assumed he had a 256 card'. (a frequent mistake i make when related to games that actually NEED a 256 card to run, not a 128, like
advertised). Its true, you can probably run most of the series on a 128, and as an avid gamer, sometimes i 'can't see the forrest for the tree's'. But
, to be quite honest, the nvidia vs the radeon is a toss up, if your a serious gamer, and willing to spend the bling-bling, there are probably
arguments on both sides. ie: until you run the latest of both, lol, its a non- determining factor. Also, lets not forget the other components that
actually make this all happen... , motherboard, RAM, cpu, audio card, drivers, running processes, etc. No worries.

lol ok, i had a choise to choose between a 128 mb and a 256 mb, but when i saw the performance tests diffirence between those two card, and the price
between em, i choose the 128 mb, the reason why i choose radeon was that i had never tryed radeon before...i had Geforce 5700 256 mb before btw
And i have a really good time with this card (exept in bhd, but its not really a problem, i was just wondering WHY i couldnt run with antialising),
the card save me for alot of game crashes.
I play mostly MTA (GTA Vice city and San Andreas online), and that mod have quite a few bugs making it crash sometimes, but my radeon card just reset
the GPU accelerator and the screen is flickering for a few seconds, and then i can go back ingame and play again without restarting the game.

The reason is because the 128 radeon card is not set up to run those settings. (it probably uses a very different set of drivers as well). If you read
all the performance tests, the 256 is on a much higher level of performance then the 128, (not that there is anything wrong w/the 128, its just not as
strong on 3-d graphics). There is 1 place you can check, in your 'catalyst control center ' for your video settings, (probably 1 by your clock on your
task bar, says ATI , open it, there may be settings you need to adjust). ps... worst case, call the peeps you got the card from, and have them walk
you through the correct driver updates, as well as game settings for the card.
