Moving Vehicles

moving vehicles...? after reading a few other topics i guess it has somthing to do with SSN? to my knowledge ssn means nuclear powered submarine.

I guess i have to assign a bot to a vehicle somehow and then make the bot or the vehicle in a group that has a set velocity and waypoints?

SSN = Social Security Number

To get an AI to drive a vehicle, Go to Edit, Events, Click on New event. You do not need a trigger. Action: Redirect SSN. Select SSN for the AI you want to drive the vehicle. Select waypoint 125 in the waypoint list and then select the vehicles SSN.

You need to make a waypoint list for the vehicle to follow. Make a new event when the waypoints are in place.

No trigger needed. It could be an idea to set a 5-10 sec time delay if you want more then 1 person in the vehicle. Just to make sure everybody is in the vehicle when the driver takes off. Action: Select the SSN for the vehicle. Select the waypoint list you just created. Select the waypoint number you want the vehicle to start at. Done.

Make sure the AI is close to the vehicle you want him to enter.

so i can pick the ssn for my soldier to go to waypoints but i cant assign it to a vehicle still? how?

edit: it works, is there any way to change the altitude at which my ai will fly? right now he's flying 5 feet above the ground running into buildings and vehicles :P
