Map Briefings...How?

When using the DFX Med to make JO Maps, Is there a way to put the briefings and SS's at the begining of maps. (shown when the Map is loading).
If this is possible using the Med...How do you do it...? :(

You cant do the load screen using the editor it has to be done with a picture editing programe.

The briefing when you press the i key is done by making a bin file.

making a load screen

when you say picture editing program do you mean photoshop or paintshop pro? Then what file do you open to modify? Doesn't it have to be one of the 4 files generated by the med for each map? If not how do you get the modified picture to open with the new map and each succession of maps thereafter? Hope you can explain it for me, Im a little slow on the uptake. Thank you very much.

To create a load screen for your mission, you need to create an PCX image file. And the screen size must be 800x600, and 8 bit (256 colors). The PCX file has to have the same name as your mission name. EX: MyMissionName.PCX You can use any paint program that you want to create the image. But you must save it as a PCX and with the conditions described above. See OpCleanSweep in the JO-E map db for an example. (thx to Legionnaire=M= for pointing this out to me).

Dont forget that only players that have downloaded your PCX load screen and have it in their JO game folder will see your nice new shiny load screen, if they havnt then they will just see the same old screen they always have.
