I have not seen the hide/unhide command for BHD as in the latest JO to do so. But I guess there are many BHD experts around who can say more about this..
Anyhow there are two-three simple basic ways to make an object that is static invisible:
1.) Place the object inside another one ( a rock a building or a wall f.e.) then when the event is triggered remove the unwanted and the player will see the object.
2.)Use a glitch , some object are tranparent if vieved from certain angles. Most buildings are transparant ( looking from insid eto the outside) if they where not intended to be entered. So u must find an object that was not designed to be displayed from that perspective. Coder have ommited the inside deco because it saves texture memory. The object can be used like a glas panel u can see through it but you cannot walk through it.
3.) teleporting objects. Now that is not what u need here...
So my answer does refer to your question how can I make invisible objects. As for the maze you may tryout 2.) u must find an object that is suited for that purpuse. If it is too big sink it into the ground. Using too many of them can put your memory usage to a limit so u must have an eye on that as well..

You can put two Somalian Posters front-to-front and they will be invisible. That's all I can think of at the moment. I just had a big lunch and I'm brain dead.

Sometimes, and it can be quite annoying, when placing objects you get an unintentional invisibility - its something to do with the blink groups the object belongs to.

Possibly one way to do what you want is to force this effect?
It’s beyond me, but it might get one of the clever folk here thinking.

posters have no colition box and can be walked through.

BHD dont have blink groups although u may be able to edit the MIS in notepad to change that

try using backside of some dock end pieces they wont be completly invisable but would work theres a obhject in TS thats incisable i think its an oilrig object
