simple AI question
Is it possible to get the AI characters to use the mounted weapons like the grenade gun or the mounted 50?
(My apologies if this has been asked before, I did a search and found nothing)

I can't say i have seen any ai using mounted guns. it might be possible im not sure i haven't tried it or seen it
you could u2 jet he will know

Yes, if you just place the AI next to the gun, they should attach, but, you need to adjust the weapon they are holding.
If you leave it as the default weapon, that is what they will fire from the mounted weapon..
So, give them a saw..if you give them a pistol..that's what they will shoot from the gun with..

Dont bother to u2u me, EE has given the answer i wouldve.
Oh you forgot to mention the ai will fire the weapon hes holding and the emplaced weapon at the same time

No problem EE. Thought i might add that lil tidbit of info just incase someone does add the ai and emplaced weapon, tested it and think there install
went crazy on them.
Heres a thought for this, add the nade launcher and give the ai nothing but grenades, would it work?

well giving the ai grenades only doesnt work, he just stands there and stares at you.

lmao:D thats pretty hilarious.
But the thing is, when an AI is at a gun emplacement, he sort of, well shoots at the ground. He stands holding something like a FN MAG or a SAW one
handed while shooting into the ground. The gun may look like its firing but its not going to hurt you.
