I absolutely agree!!!
I've also heard lately that there are a couple cheats out there that PB won't catch at this time.. (hopefully tho, it's only a rumor!)...

I've noticed that alot of servers aren't running pb?Not even Nova servers.I think everyone should have it turned on in your servers.If you don't your
saying you condone it?

I have played on several servers, and have elected to remain on a handful of private servers, because of the issue. I agree with A.Bullet - it seems
a bit on the shady side of Hokey - that they develop technology to prevent cheating, yet dont put it on their servers, thats a serious issue.
I have been loyal to the DF series since I found the first one. They have certainly come a long way from the original DF. I would just say that they
seem to have become a normal corporation and are no longer about the people who fuel their business.
Nile is a perfect example, but I think it is important for play to be fair and balanced.

I agree it PB should always be on but how many of you besides A.Bullet have actually went and sign up as a member at the PB site and joined in the
cause.
If you read there it states that in order for PB to work they have to 1)find the cheat 2)then tear it down and see how it works 3) then go in and
make a program to counter it 4) then test it 5) then make an update to release it into game files.
Now what this means is that even if PB is enabled doesnt mean that if there is a cheat being ran that it will be stopped immediatly. They have said
some of these could take up to 6weeks or more to find,rewrite,test,and release in order or the system to block it.
As for the PB banned pples list, you will not see any names listed on that for quite a long time, it has been chosen not to alienate these people
more so than just not allowing them to play ONCE they have been definitly found running a cheat or trainer that PB has found and made a fix for.
All this information can be found if you sign up and join the PB site and become an active member. Its just like being on a team, if your part of
the actual team youll get access to more than just seeing the basic site and information that you see now.
But in conclusion, YES they should still have it showing and running on their servers......

I totaly agree with you, nova have the only 150 player servers and then they dont even run punkbuster on all of them, that is stupid of them to do why
did they even make the game with pb in it if they are not going to use it.
and aint nova the ones that told us that they wern't going to release mod tolls for joint ops because people might be bale to cheat with them ....LOL

I agree.But i know when i first started and i madde a server i thought pb was automaticlly enabled so some of those servers might be newer players
hosting so anyway i do agree thought.

agree this is way wrong all servers should have an anti cheat in place like punk buster because it gets rather annoying when you are shooting at
someone and clearly hitting them and they run up and knife you this has happened a few times in games i have been in it way out of hand and just ruins
the game in it's entirety the games are there for fun and if you die then fair enough it happens just respawn and try again how hard is it 100%
backing on this matter from my end

I also agree. I belive you should only cheat WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING ALONE and is dose not create harm to any one else who is playing. Otherwise you
are playing with other people to see the best score you shoulnt Cheat because it just not fair and unjust!!!!

We can all cite the character names of a good number of former DF/JO players who no longer play in the NovaLogic arena... they moved on to other
games, fed up with all the negativity that cheating creates.
Perhaps NovaLogic allows cheaters to apply their wares for fear of losing them as well... NovaLogic is a business after all and the "bottom line" is
rule #1 in any business.
Then there are the "urban legends" and myths regarding PunkBusters... hell, maybe PunkBusters was why 9/11 occurred and "O'Sammy" is the chief
programmer at PunkBusters....
Get real, NovaLogic! Turn on PunkBusters. "Git'er done!"
Being hooked on NovaLogic games myself, I'll continue to play in password-mode with trusted friends and associates. I also switched to CoOp mode from
TDM mode... you really have to be lame to cheat in a CoOp game but some do... and they think that we are too stupid to notice.

LMAO...so they suck even against the poor dumb AIs?
I saw something about Punkbuster above, which said it only works for 32 player server....so why dont they make for Nova's 150 (and IC 250!)?

I also Agree however,,most the new Cheats and hacks get around PunkBuster anyhow and that is why nova may not be supporting it,,,I love JO and BHD
and DFX however they are older games and probably wont be around in 5 yrs,,,the new games are drawling more and more players from them.. and it
wouldn't surprise me to see nova sell out or close down altogether,,,they sure are not making a new way are they???
