Nostalgia ain't as good as it used to be.

Any one else notice that Dave Snow said he could remember before he was born? Wow!

I remember trying to code Basic programs on a 1K ZX81 - surprisingly I was never very successful. Except for the obvious :

10 PRINT "You smell"
20 GOTO 10

I think microsoft is spending too much time souping up the apearence of windows... the fade and scroll effects are nice and all, but un-nessicary. when i want to do something, i want it done now... not after windows makes the screen fade in. i always end up disableing the effects anyways

Think my dad still has our first computer a zx spectrum, had a really small keyboard with rubber keys, the whole thing fitted into a big suitcase type of thing.

I still have my commodore64 complete with a load of games, too bad the taperecorder is gone though.

Then the Atari 2600, the hours i wasted on that thing competing against my dad.. fun :D

Hmm I remember Commodore C64 with Datasette,like a tape.
at first u must give command to record, push the datasette same time as the enter...lol,after 10 min reading the game, rewind and than press again enter and play and wait 5-6 min and u can play something like Donkey Kong..gg

As the first Floppy Disc came out is was much better...

Some time ago i played a lot of the C64 games on my computer.
Had to use something like an emulator or something like that.

Could play the old games just how the looked and worked on C64, was fun to do.
