df2 terrain wont work for lw mission
i got the df2 objects adn stuff for lw and copied and pasted all the files in the folder called "main" into my lw dir. which i belive i was susposd to
do. Then i made a mission with a terrain from it and when i go to start the mission it comes up with a pop up which says NO HEIGHT MAP...what does
this mean and how can i get it to work?

There shouldnt have been anything to copy and paste from that mod. It comes with an installer. All the files need to be packed into a pff file. try
reinstalling the mod again, make sure the file path is correct and click the install button. Its also a good idea not to do anything until the
installer says its finished. running other programs will cause problems with the install.
As for the no height map it usualy means you dont have the terrain, but since you made the map it means the height map didnt get installed with the
rest of the terrain. Ive found a few terrains in the tfd terrains mod that dont work but they are also stock dflw terrains. I would suggest
reinstalling the mod. By the way an important question that would help, What terrain was it you were trying to use?

Yea dont run anything except the mod and it should wrok DF2 maps wont work because it hasnt been packed into the DFLW.PFF file or terrain.PFF file
eiyjer way you gota let the mod install it self

You could use th " \d" but i wouldnt suggest it for a whole mod. thats for mini mods.
Read the mod install sticky at the top of this forum.
