DFBARRACKS

I was thinking to myself (like a usually do)... Who started Dfbarracks? When was it setup? This site would have to be my fave and I would like to know who started the whole thing.

What little I know, and even that could be completely wrong :D, is that A.Bullet, »ßrïâñ«, and some other guys (§TING i think) decided to make a site to share resources in the DF community waaaaaay back. the result was DF barracks, which as time has gone by, has grown in reputation and size, because of the quality of information shared, and the quality of the staff and members.

Also how did EE become an admin?

JamieD EE most probably became an admin just like an officer in an army becomes a general through time and dedication have you seen the ammount of posts he has posted. (over 4000 and mostly helping others not asking questions)

lol steptoes post count well what can we say he dont shut up nah only joking steptoe is a man of knowledge as you can see bye his picture on his signature he has a lot of worry lines on that face.

he answers a lot of questions in the tech support side.

ee he lives here if you actually look behind the map database he has a bed in there i still disagree with him urinating in a bucket on a family site but he says he has to go somewhere.

I have been around DFB 4 long time now, going back way before the last revamp of forums .
Most of my time is usually between reboots loading etc of customers machines.and thats why I often ask ppl to use the search button rather than find the info for them.
No Im not a Admin, I dont have the time to sort idiots posts out...An Admin postition is one of responiblity, not ego a thing . Also as u see by my well earnt title, often I dont suffer fools or lazy ppl too well.
Theres been a few stupid Amins/mods go thru here over the yrs, the ones we have now would be the best I have seen anywhere.

Wrong...the data base is rather big with all our posts..got to make your self comfortable lol

Also, EE is on staff so he gets his bucket supplied
Im not on staff so have supply my own bucket...actually im better off...the ones AB supplies, leak...they are 2nd hand from all the Admins hes fired over the yrs.

why is it everytime i reply to a topic its topic seems to change.

And another reason why step uses his own bucket is cause we dont wash them out between changes in the staff

If someone drops the topic in a bucket im not gonna get it out !
Some threads seem to bounce all over the place. so it shouldnt ever be a surprise when it does. annoying sometimes im sure.
