Land Mines
I'm making a coop map and I want to add landmines. I've done what I've seen in the other post created an area trigger. Buried barrels under the ground
within the area. Set the events, but it still doesn't work Can anyone help? This
is the event.
(0) Group 1 (start blue player) is within area 2
THEN
(0) eliminate group 5 (barrels)

Hmm.. I just tried it, and it works for me. Possibly you're burying the barrels too deep..? I have mine set at -2, 100. Also, there's a slight delay
between the time you enter the area trigger and the time the barrels explode.
One thing I noticed.. both the "Barrel" and the "S&D Target: Barrel" will explode, but only the "S&D Target: Barrel" will kill the player.

double check all variables
check to see if both area trigger markers are set to 2.
make sure all barrels are set to group 5
also like saedor said make sure u use S&D targets and they are barly below surface

You can also check out my map Black ops 3, the mis file is included and everything is named, i used the exploding crates for the mines myself and used
some bushes for cover to draw ppl to go to the mine. you can copy and paste the event and mines. or just check it out

I never tried a satchel charge! they do produce a big bang though!
as for z-value charts you might also want to download my object z-value chart availabe in the download section. I copied both mine and stevie b's over
to notepad so it will load faster when i have the map editor and lw running at the same time.

Sorry about the late response. Thanks for the compliment on the list. I will probably add more of the df2 buildings to it and definatly the tfd
objects once i get to play with it some. after that ill see if EE will update the zip in the download section.
I had trouble with z-values too when i first started now i find them to be easy. but it helps to write em down as you figure them out and use absolute
z when placing furniture in buildings or making walls.
