New map maker needs help!
ok every 1
i started makeing maps but only on the 0 z value. cos i dont know any of the value's. can any 1 send them?
i understand the basic way to make maps.
i want to be able to helicopters move! i am not sure how to? i want to make maps on me other computer because i cant play dflw on this 1. but i cant
get to work on me new comp!
it works on me old 1 that has win 98 but me old 1 has win xp. it wont work i downloaded loads a differnt types of dfmed 4 dflw but none will work.
does any 1 know how to get it to work on win xp + tell me how to make helis move on me maps + all the z values. thats all i need to know 4 now but if

I would also like to know how to make them move, along with boats,trucks,etc. My email is blackdragonscale@yahoo.com
I also have the same prob with my old pc and my new one ( exact same problem )

Make sure you download this Med, it works on XP

put it in your DFLW game folder.
Download this for a copy of the z values.

If you look around the site, you could find this stuff yourself, there is plenty of info here, use the seaech, and take a look.

z values makin things move
z values are hieght values so if you want
somebody to appear riding in back of pickup u use value 1 any higher and the player drops out the sky try it with a plain map and a couple of objects
first just keepsaving file and try it out
for trucks helis to move click on groups
name it truck/heli then select truck/heli on map click text panel on left when truck/heli is highlighted and select the name of the group you made for
it
then start adding waypoints then click waypoints from menu give waypoints a name ex truckway then select a waypoint on map then right click and select
select these type and all the waypoints should highlight then click text panel on left and in waypoint list select the name you chose for the way
point thenfrom the menu select events and for ex
you selct then action box click it to bring up menu to redirect the Group then select the waypoint then ok that then do same for setting group
velocity and play about with speed if you want to be able to ride in whatever hope this makes some sense
