Looking for a specific object

Hey all I'm wondering if there's an object in LW that blocks fire and movement but allows players to see through it. I've been experimenting with tunnel sections, but they don't seem to work that well.
I appreciate any suggestions.

which do you mean?

do you mean, blocks fire and movement from tunel sectios, or something above ground? Cos, if above ground, something good would be a bunker i guess. Unless you have other stuff.
please tell me more of what your trying to do.

if u place a japenese wall and a fence in same place and give the wall a blink group # but DO NOT check it as parent(lower left of item attributes windw) u will see through the fence but all the fire/movement restrictions will be there from the japanese wall, but if u use this in a tunnel it wont be visable anyway and most objects that r visable if 50% orr more is outside the tunnel they become invisable

What I'm trying to do specifically is make a map where players who die are out of the game for the rest of the round. I thought that the easiest way would be to make an invisible wall and have the players spawn outside of it, but if there's another way to do the same thing, that would work too.

hmmm not a bad idea u could have 2 battle zones if u used enough primary spawns inside the area/ and regular spawns outside the area people would spawn in it the first time but not after.
then the fight could be on the outside
u can set any object in the buildings menu to invisable using above mention method

you can also set the number of available spawns in host options

U2U me ill be more than happy to help and/or give input i like this unique idea

The invisible wall thing is interesting but couldn't you accomplish the same thing by just putting a fence around your battle area?

Yeah like perigrine said, I want to keep people from being able to shoot each other, but still being able to watch the game. It's kind of like a reinforced bunker that blocks fire from both sides.

try putting the spawns inside a 'Solid' Building such as a city building. If you spawn inside you can still see out but other players cant see in - wall restrictions will apply for fire.

Hey perigrine I just tried your idea and it's exactly what I wanted! The only problem is that people outside can flip nades over the top but that can be solved by heigtening the wall or putting some kind of roof on it. Thanks so much man, that really helped.

NP just use OR_02(oilrig bridge) for the ceiling or wall(pitched 90 it would be impossible to chuck a nade over it then) and make it invisable to u have to have unlocked editor to get OR_02

id really like to see this when complete U2U, ICQ or YIM me

ICQ 116927296
