This should probably be in the Map Builders
Forum.
However;
Do you have 'snap' selected in the grid (top left hand side of the med screen). If you do, try turning it off and fining tuning the location by first
zomming in on the objects then using the control-arrow keys to move it.
If using the 3-D wireframe view make sure you are zoomed in as well and adjust the position using the fine tune measurements for height, left, right,
forward and back position.
Review of the manual will explain these features in more detail.

it's ok..
I don't think its a dumb question at all, at least you asked. Snake suggested several things that will help. Maybe you need to get a little better
feel for the wireframe. And it's nice to hear your testing and trying to fix probs instead of giving up and slapping the map to the database. The last
few pages of the MED manual list all the controls, but to put it simply, when in wireframe, zoom in on the ladder and use 'shift' and your arrow keys
to raise and lower, and if want smaller adjustments use 'shift and ctrl' and the arrow keys. Hope that helps, keep workin with it.
Cheers.
