DF2 Performance Tips
I have downloaded DFOptiRun for Delta Froce 2, however the performance of the game is, too put it bluntly, cr@p.
To get any sort of spped from the game, I need to run the game in DirectX, 512x314 (I jest you not) Anything above that and the games chugs along
slowly (even when using OptiRun). Anyone have any performance tips? I am using the latest patch from Nova Logic.

640MB SDRAM PC133 (Yes six hundred and forty)
64MB Geforce 2 MX400

Make sure you are in fullscreen and do NOT use hardware mode.
Use a full install and defrag the hard drive afterwards. These are big files and you want them all in one place.
Use the DXDIAG tool to force the refresh rate to the highest your can use. See the last page of the program when you run it.
These are suggestions, don't do something crazy like push the refresh rate beyond what your monitor can handle.

Thanks for the advice Deadbolt. I currently run the game in full screen software mode.
Will try out the defrag as suggested and let you know.
