.TIL .WAC

Hi all, been doing some stuff with the game lately and I have this problem, which I always have with this game (like I'm cursed). I installed the game and started making a mission but, when I save a wac file, it does not show as a wac file in my bhd directory, but it says txt file, and I am sure I type .wac when I save the file. In combination with that, the game does not recognize my wac and my .til file? very strange, maybe someone had this to, if so, please let me know what I can do about this.

And also, How can I change my menu music? I'm bored of listening to the TS music in the menus.

In the "Save" dialog, under the box where you enter the file name, you'll see the "File Type" box. You have to change that from "Text (.txt)" to "All File Types". Windows will then accept the .wac as the file extension.

The .til file problem sounds like you might not be running the .exe as admin. Without admin rights, Windows 8 and 7 shunts new and changed files created by the game and MED from the game folder to "C:-->Users-->YOURNAME-->AppData-->Local-->VirtualStore-->Program Files (x86)-->". Your system is safer that way, but the game can't find the new files.
