DFLW Exp and Windows 7 FYI
Yep. I "still" use LW and will hopefully continue to do so...
Installation of LW was flawless. I figured, "Why not install the EXP?"
Downloaded the EXP via the "downloads" section (which included 'the patch').
Placed the EXP install app into its own folder and executed. It went through its initial process and then ask to install. Clicked 'install' and that's
when it happened. "FwO_DF_Mod_Installer has stopped working"
I have installed Windows 7 some months ago and have been running LW and TFD without any problems.
I tried to install the LW EXP "as is" and in compatibility mode "Win XP SP2", "Win XP SP3" with the same previous error.
I finally tried the "Win 98/Me" compatibility and the installation of EXP (and the patch) ran flawlessly.
Thought I would pass this on, just in case, others are trying to run with Windows 7
