How do i get a helie to fly from the ground up 500m to a platform.

In the download section, go to the BHD Demo Missions and there are some tutorials on how to make helicopters fly.

Look for Tutorials on WACs
You will need to set up an AI unit to join the heli and then give it a waypoint to fly to.
I think. I don't play DFBHD, but since Both DFX and JO are based off the same engine, I imagine it would be simular.

Umm... look up towards the top of the page, where it says "Downloads" click that, then look for where it says "Black Hawk Down Demonstration
Missions".
